Retro Dash is a high-speed, reflex-based platformer inspired by Geometry Dash but fused with a boss fight layer. You control a neon player cube that auto-runs to the right: tap or hold Space to jump, holding to sustain jump height; press F to shoot standard shots and G to fire a powerful Sniper Round (consumes 3 ammo). Dodge obstacles, land on top of blocks, and avoid spikes. The boss periodically appears and attacks with lasers, bombs and homing missiles — you must manage movement and timing while building score.
The game's world is procedurally spawned in chunks that are timing-friendly: stacks, floating platforms, staircases and tight mini-gaps appear at playable distances. Score increases while you progress; the further you go the faster the world moves. Collisions are strict: hitting a block from the side or underneath is fatal unless you are shielded or invincible. The HUD shows HP, ammo, shards and cooldowns — use shop shards between runs to upgrade abilities.
Upgrades progress linearly: you buy levels with shards to increase ability effectiveness (double jump, dash, shield). When an ability reaches level 5 you may awaken it into a new form (e.g., Shield → Reflect Pulse). Shop items and the Abilities menu explain costs. The new Sniper attack is a high-damage, high-cost shot for targeting the boss, while the boss's Homing Missiles force you to keep moving and punish stationary play.
